Job Opening: Machine Shop Supervisor / Machine Shop Engineer

Experience: 2–7 Years (Machine Shop – CNC / HMC/ VMC / Turning)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily CNC / VMC / Turning operations in the machine shop.
• Ensure production targets are met with quality and productivity.
• Manpower handling, shift planning & job allocation.
• Monitor tool life, cutting parameters and machine performance.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings & process sheets.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality & ISO standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance & Production Planning teams.
• Handle rejection analysis, corrective & preventive actions.
• Maintain production reports and shift logs.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming & machining processes.
• Hands-on experience in machine setting, tool selection & process optimization.
• Ability to read technical drawings, GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Good communication & team-handling skills.
• Knowledge of TPM, OEE, and basic SAP/ERP (added advantage).

Qualification

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or related field.
