Machine Operator

We are a leading Racks & Shelves manufacturing company in Kerala, specializing in high-quality storage and display solutions for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. We are seeking Machine Operators responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machines to produce high-quality PVC profiles, sheets, and components required for retail display racks, industrial storage systems, and custom fabrication projects

• Set up, start, operate, and shut down extrusion machines as per production schedule.
• Adjust machine controls to regulate parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed to ensure product consistency.
• Monitor the extrusion process, checking for quality, thickness, dimensions, and surface finish.
• Load raw materials (PVC resins, additives, color masterbatch, etc.) into hoppers and ensure correct material mix.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain production records/logs.
• Perform routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and troubleshooting of extrusion machinery.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the QC team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Minimize wastage and ensure efficient utilization of raw materials.
• Escalate any equipment breakdowns or quality deviations to the Production Supervisor

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes (PVC extrusion preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, job orders, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of materials, extrusion tooling, and die change procedures.
• Hands-on experience with extrusion machine troubleshooting and minor maintenance.
• Basic understanding of quality control parameters (thickness, density, surface finish).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to machine handling.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
