Production Supervisor

We are a leading Racks & Shelves manufacturing company in Kerala, specializing in high-quality storage and display solutions for retail, industrial, and commercial applications.

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily shop-floor operations in our in our multi-faceted manufacturing facility producing retail & industrial display and storage Solutions. The role involves manpower management, production target achievement, quality monitoring, and effective reporting.

Production & Operations

· Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor.

· Ensure achievement of production targets within defined timelines.

· Monitor sheet metal cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, and assembly operations.

· Minimize downtime by coordinating with maintenance and PPC teams.

Manpower & Resource Management

· Plan and allocate work to operators and technicians effectively.

· Monitor productivity and efficiency of workforce.

· Ensure discipline, safety, and adherence to company policies among shop-floor staff.

· Identify training needs and support skill development of team members.

Quality & Process Adherence

· Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications during production.

· Coordinate with QC team for inspections and defect analysis.

· Implement corrective actions to reduce rework, rejection, and scrap.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily production logs, shift reports, and MIS reports.
• Track material consumption and WIP, and report variances.
• Liaise with PPC, QC, Stores, and Dispatch for smooth workflow.
• Escalate issues (material shortages, breakdowns, manpower gaps) to management on time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Graduate Engineer (Mechanical preferred, other disciplines acceptable).
• 3–6 years of experience in production supervision in a manufacturing setup (preferably sheet metal / fabrication / engineering industry)

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, assembly).
• Familiarity with production planning, reporting, and shop-floor control systems.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and TPM concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and exposure to ERP systems (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
