Machine Operator – CNC / VMC / HMC

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC / VMC / HMC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves operating, setting up, and maintaining precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC, VMC, and HMC machines to produce precision parts as per drawings and process sheets.
• Set up machines, tools, and fixtures for production runs.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Perform routine inspections and measurements using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine or tooling issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Record production data and report deviations or defects.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience operating CNC / VMC / HMC machines.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of machine programming (preferred but not mandatory).
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team.

• Manufacturing plant / machine shop setting.
• Shift-based work schedule may apply.
• Safety gear and compliance with company safety standards required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
