Key Responsibilities
Deal Structuring & Execution
- Assist in structuring and executing M&A transactions including financial modelling, due diligence, valuation, and negotiations.
- Support in preparing and refining deal structures that align with client goals.
- For Manager-level: Lead end-to-end execution of mandates and guide analysts/associates.
Deal Flow Management
- Manage deal sourcing, initial screening, and pipeline tracking.
- Monitor transaction timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Client Interaction & Relationship Management
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing strategic insights and transaction updates.
- Prepare pitch materials, IMs, deal summaries, and client-facing presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, potential buyers, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Financial Analysis & Valuation
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation (DCF, multiples, precedent transactions), and scenario analysis.
- Assess strategic fit, financial impact, and alignment of transactions.
Due Diligence & Market Research
- Lead/support due diligence processes across financial, operational, and legal aspects.
- Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and company research to inform client recommendations.
Qualifications
Experience
:
Analyst/Sr. Associate: 3-5 years in M&A, investment banking, or private equity.
Manager: 5-7 years with proven deal execution and leadership experience.
Skills & Knowledge
:
- Strong understanding of M&A processes, deal structuring, and negotiations.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
