Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented LV Panel Assembly Engineer to assemble, wire, and test low-voltage (LV) electrical panels used in power distribution, control systems, or industrial automation. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting electrical drawings, hands-on expertise in LV panel wiring, and a solid understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards (such as IEC, UL, or local standards).

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams for LV panels.
  • Assemble electrical enclosures and install components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, MCBs, MCCBs, and busbars.
  • Perform wiring according to design specifications and company standards.
  • Conduct continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and functional tests to verify panel quality.
  • Ensure all panels comply with local and international electrical standards (e.g., IEC 61439, UL508A).
  • Work closely with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.
  • Identify and troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain records of completed work, test results, and any modifications made.
  • Follow all workplace safety and electrical handling procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly, preferably in LV panels.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and low voltage systems (up to 1000V AC).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layout diagrams.
  • Familiar with the use of hand tools, crimping tools, torque wrenches, and multimeters.
  • Knowledge of IEC/NEC standards related to LV panel construction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with control panel wiring and motor control centers (MCCs).
  • Knowledge of PLC, VFD, and automation panel wiring.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 45001.
