Key Responsibilities :

• Build Training Plans and curriculum roadmaps.
• Deliver required trainings to New Hires & Experienced colleagues.
• Database management, daily reports, and analysis (TNA & TNI)
• Ability to manually underwrite complex transactions to ensure the loan meets established guidelines.
• Should have experience in mortgage insurance guidelines
• Underwriter should have the ability to read the guidelines to determine whether each loan meets the requisite guideline as specified by the Client.
• Should know how to run the AUS and verify the data integrity off the Desktop UW / Loan Prospector
• Review the Employment Guideline Requirements
• Perform Income calculations (salaried / Self-employed / Rental / Other Incomes)
• Validate all type of Assets including 401K, Bank Statements, Mutual funds etc.,
• Usage of Assets against Income requirement / qualification
• Calculate Debt-to-Income Ratio, Loan-to-value Ratio, Housing Payments
• Review appraisal and perform Property Valuation and use property valuation tools
• Review Credit Report including Credit Scores, Existing liens, payments etc.,
• Should also review on the alternate / support documents for credit review.
• Title review and lien validations
• Review loan details in Loan application, Letter of explanations, gift letters
• Income verification on Bank statement loans.
• Client specific guideline review with alternate documentations
