Hi All,

Greetings from Getronics!

This is a mid-senior AV / Collaboration Support Specialist role (roughly IT Operations / AV Core Engineer Collaboration & Streaming”) requiring 5+ years of enterprise experience with conferencing, AV, and streaming platforms.

Role focus

Cisco Room Devices, Crestron control systems, QSC audio systems)

Core responsibilities

Operate and support AV hardware in conference rooms, ensuring Cisco video endpoints, Crestron controllers, and QSC-based audio work reliably for meetings.
Administer collaboration and signage platforms such as Cisco Control Hub (device and workspace management), VBrick Rev (enterprise video), and Appspace (digital signage).
Troubleshoot video, audio, and connectivity issues directly with end users, covering endpoints, control systems, networks, and applications.
Perform initial configuration, registration, and onboarding of room and signage devices into management systems and monitoring tools.
Set up and support live webcasts, town halls, and streaming events using VBrick and Epiphan encoders, including pre-event checks and live monitoring.
Follow formal change control for config changes, firmware upgrades, and platform updates, with proper records and approvals.
Maintain documentation for configurations, SOPs, change records, and troubleshooting guides, and update knowledge-base content as systems evolve.
Identify recurring issues, recommend improvements, and feed them into process and platform enhancements.

Required experience & skills

5+ years of experience supporting video conferencing / collaboration and AV systems in an enterprise setup.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong networking fundamentals: IP addressing, VLANs, QoS basics, ports/protocols, and how firewalls impact AV and streaming traffic.
Prior background in Service Desk, IT Operations, or similar, including working with incident and request queues and SLAs.
Demonstrated experience in managing network-connected devices: configuration, monitoring, firmware updates, and lifecycle management.
Excellent verbal and written communication to support both technical and non-technical users and coordinate with cross-functional IT teams.

Preferred / nice-to-have

Hands-on with Microsoft Teams, especially Microsoft Teams Rooms and associated peripherals.
Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms for incident, request, and change management.
Exposure to live streaming workflows, encoders (e.g., Epiphan, Pearl), and cloud-based streaming platforms for enterprise broadcasts.
Familiarity with enterprise AV standards and best practices for conference rooms, digital signage, and streaming, including platforms like Crestron, Poly/Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, Biamp/QSC, and Shure.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to juggle multiple issues, often under time pressure during live meetings or events.
