Job Description

3+ years of Oracle Apps DBA experience Education: B.E / B.Tech / Msc.IT / Msc.CS / MCA / M.Tech / M.E Requirements and Skills Oracle EBS Administration: Manage Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) systems, including Concurrent Manager administration tasks. Middleware Support: Support Oracle WebLogic Server administration (a plus). Data Migration: Assist with data migrations and schema updates. Technical Expertise: Possess strong expertise in EBS R12.2.x system administration. SQL and PL/SQL: Review and provide recommendations to tune SQL and PL/SQL code. Wait Events: Proactively review wait events and provide recommendations. Requirements and Skills Strong knowledge of EBS 12.2 architecture, including WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and database dependencies. Experience with EBS upgrades, especially from 12.2.5 to 12.2.14. Hands-on expertise in ADOP (Online Patching) and patch management. Troubleshooting and performance tuning of EBS components (Forms, Concurrent Managers, Workflow, etc.). Experience with WebLogic Server upgrade from 12.2.1.3 to 14.1. Configuration of WebLogic domain, managed servers, clusters, and Node Manager. Experience with IDCS, Asserter SSO integration with WebLogic. Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c (Multitenant). Experience with DataGuard, RMAN backup & restore. Understanding of performance tuning, AWR, ASH, and optimizer improvements. Experience applying Critical Patch Updates (CPU), one-off patches, and consolidated patches. Knowledge of adpatch, adop (Online Patching), and patch merging. Hands-on experience in cloning multi-node environments. Experience with Oracle Wallet, encryption, and auditing. Proficiency in SQL and SQL server tools Advanced understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring requirements Modelling of relational and dimensional data PowerShell and Unix shell scripting abilities are required. Thorough understanding of database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle) Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Disaster Recovery (DR) and Active Data Guard, ORDS.
