Skills Required

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  Raw Material & Consumable Goods (CG) Material Management

• Hands-on experience in

  Imports Procurement

  (Plastic Raw Materials preferred)
• In-depth understanding of

  VDA / ISO / IATF audit requirements

  related to materials procurement
• Working knowledge of

  SAP (MM module preferred)

  and other ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in

  MS Excel

  (inventory analysis, forecasting, MIS, cost tracking)
• Experience in

  New Product Development (NPD)

  coordination
• Understanding of

  MINMAX inventory planning

  and stock control
• Knowledge of

  statutory compliance

  related to imports and procurement

Roles & Responsibilities

Imports Procurement & Material Management

• Plan and execute

  import procurement of raw materials and consumable goods

• Ensure

  availability of materials

  as per production plans without line stoppage
• Manage

  MINMAX inventory levels

  and optimize working capital
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers for pricing, lead time, and dispatch schedules
  

Audit & Compliance (VDA / ISO / IATF)

• Ensure full compliance with

  VDA, ISO, and IATF requirements

  in procurement processes
• Prepare and maintain

  audit-ready documentation

  for materials management
• Support internal and external audits and ensure

  closure of NCs

• Maintain traceability, records, and process adherence as per guidelines
  

ERP, MIS & Reporting

• Handle procurement and inventory transactions in

  SAP

• Prepare

  MIS reports

  on procurement efficiency, inventory levels, and cost savings
• Monitor material consumption trends and forecast future requirements
  

New Product Development (NPD) Support

• Coordinate with R&D, production, and vendors for

  NPD material sourcing

• Ensure timely availability of trial and development materials
  
• Support commercialization of new products from procurement perspective
  

Cost Control & Performance Improvement

• Identify opportunities for

  cost savings and vendor optimization

• Monitor import costs, duties, and logistics expenses
  
• Ensure

  no financial loss

  due to non-compliance, delays, or poor planning
