Job Description

We are the leading chemical exporters and suppliers of organic and inorganic chemicals based in India. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented purchase assistant to join our team in the chemical industry. As a Purchase Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our purchasing department by ensuring the timely procurement of required materials. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate with various stakeholders will be essential to maintaining smooth operations within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers for required materials
• Place purchase orders with suppliers and track order status until delivery
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, including invoices and receipts
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements
• Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
• Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Proficient in using purchase order software and MS Office applications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure

• Vadodara, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
