Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and anticipatory Logistics Executive (Road Transport) to manage and coordinate day-to-day transportation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of goods, optimize transport routes, manage vendors and drivers, and maintain accurate logistics documentation while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor road transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
• Assign vehicles and drivers based on shipment requirements and delivery schedules
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, warehouses, and customers for smooth operations
• Track shipments, monitor vehicle movement, and resolve transit-related issues
• Negotiate rates with transport vendors and ensure adherence to agreed terms
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight bills, PODs, invoices, and trip sheets
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance schedules, and logistics costs
• Handle customer queries and provide shipment status updates
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and performance reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven (3 to 5 years)experience in road transport or logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of road transportation processes and documentation
• Good negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and work under deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics/transport management systems
• Strong communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
