As a Loan Documentation & Processing Analyst 2 at Citigroup, your role involves applying specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate loan processes and data. You will identify policy gaps, interpret data, make recommendations, and research factual information. Your responsibilities include preparing and reviewing loan documentation, processing and closing loans, supporting product/services, and resolving problems related to loan processing activities. You will also make recommendations for process improvement, design loan documentation reports, and minimize risk through increased knowledge of procedural requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation - Independently process and close loans within a complex loan operations environment - Identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing activities - Make recommendations to management for process improvement - Design and analyze loan documentation reports - Minimize risk through increased procedural knowledge - Timely management and escalation of inquiries and issues related to loan processing - Demonstrate an intermediate level of understanding of products and processes - Utilize communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions Qualifications: - 4 to 8 years of relevant experience - Elementary level knowledge of Business Processes, Systems, and Tools used in the Loan Process - Understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products, and Services - Ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues - Awareness of risk types, policies, control measures, and processes - Compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this is a high-level overview of the types of work performed in this role, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
