Yuva Parivartan (YP), a flagship movement of Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA), was established in 1998 to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for deprived youth and women through technical, business, and life skill training programs. Formally launched by the then President APJ Kalam in 2003, YP has positively impacted the lives of over 1.15 million students, with over 70% of beneficiaries being women. With a focus on practical training, YP offers short courses ranging from 15 to 90 days, enabling quick income generation and attitudinal change. Beneficiaries from small towns and villages as well as urban centers have seen significant improvements in employability and confidence.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Vada for a Livelihood Training Centre Manager. The Livelihood Training Centre Manager will oversee the daily operations of the training center, coordinate with trainers, manage schedules, and ensure the smooth execution of training programs. Responsibilities include student mobilization, maintaining relationships with local community leaders, creating reports, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The role also involves monitoring the progress of trainees, providing guidance and support, and facilitating job placement opportunities for trainees.

Qualifications

• Experience in team management, coordination, and project management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, trainers, and community leaders
• Ability to create and manage schedules, reports, and to ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the local community and its needs
• Background in education, vocational training, or social work is beneficial
• Relevant degree or qualifications in management, education, or a related field
