The role involves working on diverse legal matters including documentation regulatory liaison, and contractual support, ensuring legal compliance and liability protection across our real estate operations Due Diligence and Land Records Management: Conduct thorough due diligence and title searches to verify the accuracy and authenticity of agricultural land records and real estate properties. Assist clients in obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining accurate agricultural land records and real estate documentation, including title deeds, survey reports, and land use permits. Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes related to agricultural land ownership, boundary issues, water rights, land encroachments, and real estate transactions. Prepare legal documents and support senior legal professionals in litigation, mediation, or arbitration processes. Compliance and Regulatory Guidance: Ensure compliance with agricultural land laws, real estate regulations, and zoning laws. Stay updated on changes in agricultural and real estate laws and advise clients accordingly. Assist clients in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for agricultural land development and real estate projects. CANDIDATES SHOULD KNOW TO READ & WRITE KANNADA.

Key Responsibilities: Documentation & Advisory: Vetting and drafting loan documentation for secured/unsecured loans. Review and advise on legal risk in lending and operational transactions. Draft/review agreements including vendor contracts, MoUs, NDAs, lease deeds, etc. Litigation & Disputes: Handle and manage litigation and arbitration matters (civil/criminal/consumer). Liaise with external legal counsels, advocates, and law firms. Represent the bank in legal proceedings as required. Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, banking laws, and internal policies. Provide legal opinion and guidance to internal departments on various regulatory and operational matters. Recovery & Support to Collections: Assist recovery teams with legal support for enforcement actions under SARFAESI, DRT, and other recovery laws. Draft/review notices under Section 138 of NI Act, loan recall, and other recovery-related communication. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks in business operations and suggest mitigation strategies. Conduct legal audits and reviews periodically.
