We are looking for a to take full ownership of hybrid infrastructureenvironments hosted across AWS, Azure, and On-Premises setups. The idealcandidate will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, security, andperformance while driving automation and standardization across 100s of Linuxservers. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in Linux,security hardening (CIS benchmarks), vulnerability remediation, and automationof infrastructure tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Linux Server Management & Operations
o Manage, monitor, and support large-scale Linuxenvironments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
o Perform OS upgrades, patching, and packagemanagement across hundreds of servers
o Troubleshoot and resolve advanced Linux systemissues (performance, kernel, services, etc.)
Security Hardening & Compliance
o Implement and maintain CIS hardening standards across all Linux servers
o Remediate VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment andPenetration Testing) and CIS benchmark findings
o Develop automation scripts/tools to roll outsecurity configurations across the fleet
o Work closely with the security team to ensuresystem compliance with industry best practices
Automation & Configuration Management
o Automate OS hardening, patch management, andsystem provisioning using tools like Ansible, Bash, Python, or Terraform
o Create and maintain playbooks and scripts forrepeatable tasks
o Streamline deployments and configuration driftsacross cloud and on-prem environments
Cloud & On-Premise Support
o Support hybrid environments on AWS, Azure,and On-Prem
o Assist in provisioning, scaling, and securingcloud-based Linux workloads
o Monitor platform uptime, availability, andperformance metrics
Cost & Resource Optimization
o Collaboratewith DevOps/cloud teams to optimize cloud usage and reduce infrastructure costs
o Implementmonitoring and alerting to proactively identify performance or cost anomalies
Skills & Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
o 3+years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration
o Deepunderstanding of CIS benchmarks and security hardening techniques
o Strongscripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
o Provenexperience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
o Solidknowledge of AWS and Azure Linux instances and best practices
o Experiencein managing vulnerability remediation and patch management
o Familiaritywith VAPT assessments , security tools, and remediation workflows
Good to Have:
o Experiencewith container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
o Infrastructureas Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
o Monitoringtools (Prometheus, Nagios, CloudWatch, etc.)
o Certificationin RHCE, AWS SysOps, Azure Administrator, or related areas
