Job Description

Position: Linux Device Driver Developer

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Skills: Linux kernel programming, C Programming, Linux device driver development

Role Description

The Linux Device Driver Developer will design, develop, and troubleshoot device drivers for various hardware components. The developer will work closely with the hardware and software teams to optimize driver performance and ensure compatibility. Daily tasks will include writing and maintaining code, debugging, and conducting performance testing. Collaboration with other team members for code reviews and project planning will also be a key part of the role.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux Device Driver development and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of the Linux operating system and kernel
Excellent skills in C/C++ programming
Knowledge of hardware architecture and embedded systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with version control systems like Git
Experience in low-level hardware programming and debugging tools
