Job Description

Linux Device Driver Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
Linux Kernel modules and device drivers
.
Optimize
CPU and memory performance
in embedded systems.
Work on
embedded software development
for Linux and ARM-based platforms.
Implement and troubleshoot
OS-level features
such as memory management, scheduling, IPC, and multi-threading/multi-processing.
Perform
system-level debugging
using tools like
JTAG
and resolve complex issues across hardware and software boundaries.
Collaborate with architecture and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Required Skills:

Strong programming skills in
C
and solid understanding of
Data Structures
.
Proven expertise in
Linux Kernel programming
and
Device Driver development
.
Experience with
CPU and memory optimization techniques
.
Deep understanding of
Operating System internals
.
Proficiency in
debugging embedded systems
using industry-standard tools.
Strong grasp of
system architecture
and ability to debug at a system level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, or related field.
Experience in performance tuning and low-level system optimization.
Exposure to open-source contributions or kernel community involvement is a plus.
