Job Title: Linux System Administrator with Clustering

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Location: Navi Mumbai

Administrator Key Responsibilities

Linux Administration:

? Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.

? Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.

? Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups.

? Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization.

? Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to enhance reliability and efficiency.

? Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training.

? Update and Upgrade Linux Environments

? Co-ordinate with Networking and Storage Teams for integration / connectivityissues.

Linux Clustering:

? Design and implement high-availability Linux clustering solutions using technologies such as Pacemaker, Corosync, or DRBD.

? Manage clustering technologies such as Pacemaker, Corosync, or similar.

? Monitor and optimize cluster performance and resource allocation.

? Develop and execute disaster recovery plans for clustered environments.

? Troubleshoot and resolve clustering-related issues on time.

Monitoring Solutions:

? Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) to track system performance and health.

? Analyze monitoring data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

? Create alerts and dashboards for real-time monitoring of system metrics.

? Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

? 3+ years of experience in Linux administration and support.

? Strong knowledge of Linux clustering technologies and best practices.

? Experience with monitoring tools and solutions in a Linux environment.

? Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Ansible).

? Strong understanding of networking, storage solutions, and virtualization (KVM, VMware)

? Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

? Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

? Understanding of Red Hat Satellite or any other Patching solution is a Plus.

? Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus.

? Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

? Strong communication and teamwork skills.
