Job Description:
At Schlumberger client location support the ONGC (OIL & GAS Corporation)
· Detailed monitoring of data processing jobs run by the DP Engineers on Linux based environment.
· Ensuring the resources is utilized in a better and efficient way.
· Resolving permission and quota related problems faced by the DP Engineers.
· Order omega software related licenses before it expires and install in servers using Linux command.
· Firing weekly backups
· Linux Process Management & System Logs Management.
· Disk Management, LVM (Logical Volume, Volume Group).
· Monitoring Storage Servers and Disk use to avoid disk failure.
· Monitoring all servers in Data centre and Tape library as well
· Monitoring of the Nodes Clusters and Servers in the data processing centre.
· Monitoring UPS Room, Taking Readings from UPS.
· Sending and Receiving Shipment of Servers, disk and Tapes.
· Coordinating with different Vendors regarding Disk, Tape or Monitoring tools which is used in Server Room
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹225,531.17 - ₹1,055,426.72 per year
