Linux Administrator

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting various Linux environments such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu servers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Administering and automating infrastructure using Ansible for configuration management. - Deploying and managing applications using Docker containers and Kubernetes on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. - Administering and supporting Oracle SPARC server environments, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching. - Performing OS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patch management across physical and virtual platforms. - Conducting system performance monitoring and tuning for CPU, memory, disk, and network utilization. - Managing user access, Sudo policies, filesystems, and system-level security hardening. - Handling patching and system provisioning using Red Hat Satellite Server. - Managing identity and access control using Red Hat Identity Management (IDM). - Supporting CI/CD integration for container workloads and assisting in building resilient microservices environments. - Collaborating with Oracle support for advanced system issues and root cause analysis. - Collaborating with the InfoSec team to apply security policies, perform system hardening, and support vulnerability remediation. In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also be required to work with Microsoft Azure cloud services, Oracle OCI, Google Cloud (GCP), and Azure AKS.
