To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: You have 10+ experience in designing and developing complex framework and platform solutions with practical use of design patterns. You are expert in server-side issues such as caching, clustering, persistence, security, SSO, high scalability/availability and failover You have experience in big data engineering technologies such as: stream/stream processing frameworks, and NoSQL databases. You are experience in open source Java frameworks such as OSGI, Spring, JMS, JPA, JTA, JDBC. Kubernetes, AWS, GCP and Azure cloud platforms You are experience in PostgreSQL database and Aspect oriented architectures. You are experience in open source participation and apache projects, patent process, in depth knowledge of App server architectures and SaaS or PaaS enabling platforms. You are familiarity with REST API principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns. You have knowledge of fine tuning LLMs including BERT and GPT based Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills Familiarity with data warehouse/data lake platforms Snowflake, Databricks, Bigquery Knowledge of cloud platforms Amazon AWS, Google GCP, Oracle OCI, Microsoft Azure Experience in Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex

Version 1 is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to join its Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing complex Database Server solutions for mid to enterprise level organisations. We are looking for an individual who enjoys a fast pace, can prioritise workload, and can work under their own initiative. You will have solid background in implementing and supporting Oracle technologies. You will work within a blended team of junior DBAs right up to Principal Oracle consultants and have plenty of opportunities to develop skills across the entire Oracle stack. Within this team we actively encourage knowledge sharing and regularly identify gaps for training and personal progression. We currently support and implement projects for a large number of clients across several industry sectors. Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) with Oracle Forms and Reports required Experience in migrating to Oracle OCI and AWS RDS desirable Knowledge of Oracle Exadata Database Machine. Migration experience to Oracle Exadata Database Machine, on-premise, Exadata Cloud @ Customer or Exadata Cloud Services desirable Oracle APEX, RAC, Golden Gate, ODI and Red Hat Linux skills would be good to have PostgresSQL a distinct advantage Working knowledge of Java application server admin (Tomcat, JBoss etc) Solid experience with disaster recovery methods and capacity planning. Experience in upgrading/migrating large and multiple database environment. Ability to work under pressure, handle complex change and prioritize key activities. Preparing the inventory, preparing, and proving procedures, looking at pre-requisites, training and identifying the migration approach for migrations to be conducted. Full migration lifecycle activities including, but not limited to detailed analysis, design, development, test, user acceptance test support and production implementation. Identifying and correcting performance issues, reviewing systems and error logs, storage management, backups, job monitoring, optimization efforts, data integrity analysis and resolving database contention issues. Experience with third party backup and monitoring tools.
