About the Role

linguistic tasks (translation, QC)

Perfect for someone who is tech-savvy, logical, and excited to learn everything from the basics of translation to advanced tools and processes.

Linguistic tasks (primary)

• Translate and proofread content in

  Hindi and/or Gujarati

  with accuracy and domain awareness.
• Review and improve machine-translated output using clear linguistic judgment.
• Perform internal QA checks on translated files before delivery.
• Maintain consistency of terminology and style across projects.

Operations & workflow assistance

• Assist the Client Coordinator in

  receiving, preparing, processing, reviewing and delivering project files

  .
• Handle file conversions, formatting, and basic DTP/cleanup using relevant tools.
• Update internal trackers, sheets, and process documents accurately.
• Support automation workflows built around CAT tools, scripts, and Google Workspace.

Technology & tools

• Work with CAT tools (MemoQ, Trados, Phrase, etc.) after training.
• Use QC tools and checklists efficiently.
• Learn and adapt to new platforms, scripts, and automations as the company grows.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to project files.

Required skills & qualificaiton

• Excellent command of

  Hindi and/or Gujarati

  (spoken and written).
• Strong logical reasoning, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• High comfort with technology, online tools, and learning new software quickly.
• Ability to follow structured processes with discipline.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within deadlines.
• Graduate in any stream (language or tech background is a plus).

Preferred (not mandatory)

• Familiarity with translation or content workflows.
• Experience using CAT tools or QA tools.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Sheets formulas.
• Interest in automation, scripting, or tech-enabled processes.
