- Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and clients to understand the project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Break down scripts, treatments, and concepts into production requirements including crew, equipment, locations, and post needs.
- Prepare detailed production budgets and schedules, ensuring feasibility within client constraints.
- Identify and onboard directors, DOPs, stylists, production designers, and other key crew members.
- Manage casting, location scouting, and permissions in coordination with the creative and production teams.
- Conduct pre-production meetings (PPMs) and ensure all creative and logistical elements are aligned.
2. Production Management
- Oversee all aspects of on-ground shoot execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and creative vision.
- Supervise crew, vendors, and talent during shoots, maintaining smooth coordination between all departments.
- Troubleshoot on-set challenges proactively from technical glitches to logistic bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company policies during all shoots.
- Maintain clear communication between creative, client, and production stakeholders throughout the shoot.
3. Budgeting & Financial Management
- Create, track, and manage production budgets, including cost estimations, approvals, and reconciliations.
- Negotiate vendor rates, crew costs, and logistics expenses to ensure maximum cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Handle expense tracking, billing documentation, and closure reports for all projects.
4. Vendor & Resource Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with production vendors, studios, equipment houses, and freelancers.
- Oversee equipment rentals, logistics partners, catering, and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain a database of reliable production partners and crew for future projects.
5. Post-Production Coordination
- Work with editors, colorists teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Track versioning, client feedback, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure all raw footage, assets, and backups are properly archived and organized.
6. Client & Internal Collaboration
- Act as the operational bridge between the client, agency, and production crew.
- Participate in client calls, share production updates, and manage expectations throughout the process.
- Collaborate with content strategists, creative directors, and account managers for project alignment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Graduate degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience as a Line Producer or Production Manager in advertising, digital content, or film.
- Proven track record in managing shoots across formats like branded films, digital series, influencer videos, fashion films, or commercials.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong vendor, crew, and talent management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and production management tools.
- Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to balance creative sensibilities with production realities.
Preferred Background:
- Experience working in a creative agency, production house, or digital content studio.
- Familiarity with digital-first formats and creator-driven content.
- Prior exposure to fashion, lifestyle, or branded entertainment projects is a plus.
