Core Responsibilities Project Supervision: Oversee all on-site lighting installations, ensuring work is completed according to designs, specifications, timelines, and budgets. Supervise the load-in, testing, and commissioning of all lighting elements, from basic fixtures to advanced controls. Supervise, educate, and manage electricians, technicians, and subcontractors involved in lighting installation. Organize toolbox talks, safety briefings, and provide training on new technologies or installation procedures. Planning and Coordination: Develop installation schedules, coordinate with project managers, designers, and other trades for smooth workflow, and arrange for the supply and timely delivery of lighting fixtures and equipment. Technical Oversight: Review and interpret lighting plans, wiring diagrams, and specifications. Ensure installation quality, proper wiring, secure connections, and compliance with standards for technical lighting. Conduct risk assessments, safety checks, and supervise testing of lighting systems (e.g., using multimeters, lux meters). Monitor and inspect light fixtures, control systems, and associated components, reporting technical issues to engineers as needed. Supervise troubleshooting and problem-solving for electrical faults, voltage issues, and control system malfunctions.
