Lift Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Lift Technician to handle installation, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of elevators/lifts in Chennai and Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently at sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and servicing of elevators/lifts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Ensure lifts operate safely and efficiently as per standards
• Attend emergency breakdown calls and resolve issues promptly
• Inspect lift components such as motors, control panels, doors, and safety devices
• Maintain service records, checklists, and reports
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for service schedules
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all sites

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a Lift Technician
• Strong knowledge of elevator mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in maintenance and breakdown handling
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
• Willingness to travel to client locations
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• Basic documentation and reporting skills
• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field preferred
