Job Summary:

L&T BALCO, Korba is seeking a skilled and licensed Man Electrician (Wireman) to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setup. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plant electrical work and a strong understanding of electrical safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of LT/HT panels, motors, transformers, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and maintain smooth plant operations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and technical documents.
• Assist in electrical commissioning and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper usage of electrical tools, testing instruments, and PPE as per company safety policy.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and report issues to supervisors/engineers promptly.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: ITI in Electrician Trade from a recognized institute.
• License: Valid Wireman License issued by Chhattisgarh State or equivalent authority.
• Experience: 1–2 years of industrial or plant-based electrical maintenance experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, motors, and switchgear.
• Experience in cable termination, motor connections, and lighting systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical drawings and safety codes.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
