Job Description

You will be joining as an experienced and dynamic Insurance Surveyor in our team, where you will be responsible for independently handling large and complex claims. Additionally, you will take on the role of leading and mentoring a team of surveyors. Your strong background in claim assessment, comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies, and leadership skills will be crucial in guiding the team to deliver accurate survey reports in a timely manner. - Independently handle large, high-value claims from initiation through to settlement, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. - Assess and evaluate claims meticulously, ensuring accurate completion of documentation, loss assessments, and risk analyses. - Provide expert advice and technical knowledge to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders on complex claims and surveys. - Review and analyze loss data to generate precise reports supporting decision-making processes. - Interact with policyholders, agents, adjusters, and other involved parties during the claims process. - Cultivate strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry professionals to boost business development and service delivery. - Lead, mentor, and guide a team of surveyors, equipping them with essential skills and resources for effective performance. - Supervise the team's activities and offer feedback to maintain high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism. - Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and legal changes to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices in claims handling. - Assist in training programs for junior surveyors and continuously enhance the team's capabilities. - Support in preparing reports for management and stakeholders on claims performance and trends. - Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, showcasing proficiency in handling large and complex claims. - Profound knowledge of insurance policies, industry regulations, and claims management procedures. - Strong leadership qualities to effectively guide and motivate a team. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities concurrently. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Relevant certifications or professional designations (e.g., Associate in Claims, Chartered Insurance Professional) would be advantageous.,
