Liason Manager

Role & responsibilities

• This liaison manager is responsible to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationship, facilitate communication and coordinate activities with assigned sites.
• Liaison manager should be subject matter expert in forecasting and Demand Management.
• Responsible for menu planning in IFMS, generating proposed requisition, placing order after appropriate review and approval process including non-customary request raised.
• Liaison manager will be touch point for all issues and inquiries associated to recipes, Portion control, Inventory management, ING & IT relations, purchase order, supply chain, SKU optimisation, material forecast, and site savings proposals using new Food management System that governs recipes, portion control and menu controls.
• Co-responsible with site to keep food cost under the target and achieve budgeted savings target on food cost

KRA

• Developing initiatives, concepts and analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness continually support liaison jobs

• Providing assistance for sites on effective generation of purchase requisition by ensuring effective PAX update, detailed menu share and regular portion size revision

• Continuous co-ordination with functional department to have effective control on cost by ensuring end to end Integrated Food Management System are upheld

• Closely working with site, purchase and functional department to keep Food cost within the approved target by SKU optimization, MOQ management, savings opportunities and combined effort in assembling and updating efficient recipes

• Training Site employees to create awareness of roles and functions, develop their skills and knowledge. Cross training with team for advancement opportunities

• Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis, Management reports to be generated and shared in accurate and timely manner

• Participate in cross functional meetings to resolve any recurring issue

• Foster the Sodexo culture in compliance with the Groups core values (service spirit, team spirit, spirit of progress) and its ethical principles (trust, respect for people, transparency, and business integrity)

• Timely update of site day plan menu in IFMS after verifying the estimated PAX and timely generation of PO

• Completion of day plan menu process comprising menu cost recalculation, calculating future cost to capture accurate day wise price and final menu confirmation for site to update their daily production plan

• Verification of Purchase requisition against validation by revisiting PR quantity and value to keep the cost in control

• Regular optimization of site portion size in coordination with site and revising the portion factor for menu plan update to improve efficiency in requisition value which directly influences the Food cost

• Close co-ordination with Site Team, Menu programmer and Culinary systems for creating cost effective recipes/recipe adjustments ensuring customer satisfaction, appropriate item TAG, change in menu structures, new service creation and planned cost update

• Support site for any non-customary purchase order request, modification of purchase order by following standard approval process

• Adherence to company catalogue list and guidelines while revisiting the validated purchase requisition and issuing purchase order

• Need unvarying check on SKU and identify savings opportunity in terms brand/SKU change
