Job Purpose: Manager- Legal will support Company to carry out various activities and assignments effectively in a time bound manner with pragmatic and holistic approach. He/she will be supporting and working in supervision of GGM (Group General manager). Key Responsibilities: Handle/Follow up on Court cases, as and when required. Liaison with concerned departments to ensure that wherever legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have to be taken in concurrence with GGM Supervision. Title due diligence, Preparing preliminary title report, knowledge on land related cases Drafting of Agreement to sell, Sale deeds, MOU, Lease deeds, and other contracts. Collaborate with external lawyers to evaluate land records and conduct a thorough due diligence for all deals and transactions. Highlight concern areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies / options. Review and Assist on documents and review ongoing cases To manage contracts and litigation effectively so as to minimize exposure of the Company to claims and litigation. Keep track of existing laws and changes to laws governing urban and rural land development. Capitalize on any emerging opportunities for the benefit of the organization Operational. Identify external legal counsels and consultants for various jobs as and when required. Effectively coordinate with outside counsels for litigations and contract management. Develop a database of legal, regulatory & statutory requirements for Company projects. Ensure effective management of legal documentation Desired qualifications Bachelor of Law (LLB) or equivalent Desired experience 10-12 years in the legal profession and experience in legal function of real estate background is mandatory Knowledge and Skills: Technical Knowledge. Must have experience in practicing before courts handling litigations, documentations and administrative experience.
