Job Description

We at Prolifics are looking for a dedicated Legal Manager to join our legal team. As a Legal Manager, you will play a vital role in providing legal counsel, guidance, and support to our organization. Your expertise in various areas of law and strong leadership skills will contribute to the effective management of legal affairs and the protection of our company's interests. If you are a strategic thinker, adept at navigating complex legal matters, and capable of leading a team, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and counsel to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiations, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and employment issues. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure they align with company policies and legal requirements. Conduct legal research to stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization. Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring effective communication and coordination on legal matters. Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manage legal disputes and litigation, including working with external counsel and representing the organization in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. Conduct legal training sessions for employees to enhance their understanding of legal issues and risk management. Stay informed about industry-specific regulations and trends that could impact the organization's operations. Provide support and guidance in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and other strategic business initiatives. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of legal professionals, fostering their growth and development. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in law (LLB) from an accredited institution; mastemaster'srs degree or additional certifications preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in legal roles, with 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of various areas of law, including commercial law, contract law, intellectual property, and employment law. Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice that aligns with business objectives. Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal databases and resources. Strong leadership and team management skills. Membership in a relevant legal association or bar association is preferred.
