Website: https://onshoreconstruction.com/ Job Title: Legal Manager Location: 7th Floor ATL Corporate Park, Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Mumbai-400072, Maharashtra Experience: 8+ Years Qualification: LLB Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview: As a Legal Manager, you will oversee and manage the legal affairs of the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in corporate and company law will be pivotal in safeguarding the company's interests through effective legal strategies, documentation, and supervision. Key Responsibilities: Legal Advisory & Compliance: Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business operations. Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations affecting the company, ensuring timely compliance. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements. Ensure all contracts align with company policies and legal standards. Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel as necessary. Represent the company in legal proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. Corporate Governance & Documentation: Prepare and maintain corporate records, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and compliance reports. Supervise the preparation of legal documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Advise on risk exposure related to business operations and suggest corrective actions. Team Leadership & Training: Lead and mentor the in-house legal team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Conduct training sessions for staff on legal and compliance matters to enhance organizational awareness. Qualifications: Education: Graduate degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). Experience: Minimum of 8 years in corporate or company law, with a proven track record in legal documentation and supervision. Skills: In-depth knowledge of corporate laws, company law, and regulatory frameworks. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
