About The Job At Vidhi Centre For Legal Policy

Vidhi is hiring a Research Fellow for the Charkha Team (Institutional Research Pool). The role involves high-quality legal research in constitutional and public law, contributing to reports, and engaging with stakeholders.

• Salary: Competitive (Commensurate with experience)

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Undergraduate degree in Law (Essential); Master’s degree in Law, especially Constitutional Law (Desirable).
• Experience: 0–1 year of demonstrable work experience in legal research, academia, or litigation.
• Skills:
• Bilingual fluency in an Indian language.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrable publications or research output (Desirable).
  

Key Responsibilities / Role

• Conducting high-quality legal research, analysis, and drafting in constitutional and public law.
• Preparing reports, position papers, research notes, and presentations.
• Coordinating and attending meetings with government officials, academics, and stakeholders.
• Writing articles, blogs, and contributing to podcasts or other audio-visual platforms.
• Working across teams as part of Vidhi’s institutional pool of researchers.
