Legal Investments and M&A ( International Expansions) - Senior Manager

As a Legal Support Specialist at our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support, particularly focusing on investments and corporate transactions. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to offer strategic legal guidance, as well as overseeing external stakeholders like law firms and tax advisors in corporate transactions. Here's what you can expect in this role: Responsibilities: - Structure corporate transactions to align with commercial objectives. - Collaborate with external advisors on various corporate transactions. - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of transaction documents. - Manage investments and corporate transactions from initiation to completion, coordinating with external parties and internal teams. - Provide legal advice on matters related to foreign exchange compliance, Companies Act, corporate governance, and other relevant areas. Business Contract Management: - Prepare, review, and negotiate different business contracts including licensing agreements, marketing agreements, and more. Legal Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, including RBI regulations and data privacy laws. - Advise senior management on corporate governance matters and regulatory compliance. Superpowers/ Skills for Success: - 5-7 years of experience in M&A practice, with expertise in various corporate transactions. - Proficiency in foreign exchange regulations, corporate law, securities regulations, and contract law. - Strong communication, negotiation, and drafting skills. - Ability to think strategically and collaborate effectively across business functions. - Analytical mindset with the capability to simplify legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders. - Detail-oriented with a knack for balancing legal risks with business requirements. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Education: - LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university; additional qualifications like LLM or professional certifications would be advantageous.
