Legal Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, organizing, and maintaining a

  centralized legal repository

  of contracts, case files, compliance documents, licenses, NOCs, permits, and statutory registrations for all Orchids schools.
• Review and document

  litigation and dispute matters

  , track hearing dates, summarize orders/notices, and maintain case progress reports.
• Support in tracking and documenting

  school-level and corporate-level compliance requirements

  , including renewals and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with school teams and internal departments to collect information for audits, licenses, permissions, and statutory filings.
• Conduct basic legal research on education-related regulatory norms, state-specific requirements, and school operations.
• Assist in drafting concise internal notes, trackers, summaries, and status reports for Legal leadership review.
• Help standardize formats, checklists, and documentation practices across the Legal function.

Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing LL.B or an integrated law program from a recognized institution.

• Ability to read and understand Kannada

  is mandatory (for reviewing state-level notices, orders, and compliance documents).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with digital document management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Ability to work from the Yeshwanthpur office on all working days (on-site internship only).
