Legal Head- Bangalore

We are hiring for a Leading Metals & Mining organization for the Position - Legal Head

Location-

To provide legal advice, manage regulatory compliance, oversee contract management, and protect the company's interests in legal matters across operations, manufacturing, sales, HR, and international trade.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Strategy & Advisory

• Develop and implement the legal strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Advise senior management on legal implications of business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory laws and regulations applicable to the manufacturing and metals industry.

Contract & Commercial Law

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including purchase/sales agreements, MoUs, NDAs, service agreements, vendor and distributor contracts.
• Support the procurement, operations, and export-import departments in contractual and regulatory compliance.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

• Manage and coordinate litigation matters civil, criminal, labor, environmental, and commercial.
• Represent the company or coordinate with external counsel in courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.

Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, industrial, labor, and corporate laws.
• Handle legal aspects related to pollution control, mining licenses (if applicable), and factory operations.

Intellectual Property & Corporate Affairs

• Safeguard IP rights including trademarks, patents, and designs.
• Handle company secretarial matters in coordination with the CS/legal team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• any graduates with legal exposure or LLB & LLM or MBA in Industrial Relations will be added an advantage 
• 9+ years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to metals, manufacturing, or heavy industries.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, corporate law, labor law, industrial and environmental laws.
