Job Title: Legal Executive Company: MK Group Location: Chandigarh Experience: 3–6 years Salary: Best as per Industry Standards Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: MK Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong corporate legal experience and be well-versed in drafting, reviewing, and managing various legal documents. The role involves collaboration across departments, ensuring compliance, and liaising with external stakeholders and government bodies. Key Responsibilities: Provide timely and accurate legal advice to departments including HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations. Draft, review, and manage legal documents such as rent agreements, work orders, service contracts , and more. Vet and negotiate contracts including NDAs, MoUs, vendor agreements, lease deeds , etc. Identify legal risks in business operations and propose effective mitigation strategies. Liaise with government offices, regulatory bodies, and local authorities for legal and compliance matters. Act as the first point of contact for internal legal queries, including compliance, permits, licensing, and due diligence. Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Support internal teams during audits, inspections, and regulatory checks. Requirements: Education: LLB from a recognized university (specialization in Corporate/Commercial/Property Law preferred) LLM (preferred but not mandatory) Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills Excellent communication in English (regional language proficiency is a plus) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management Analytical thinking with a business-oriented legal approach Additional Requirements: Must be open to fieldwork including visits to government departments, meetings with officials, and regulatory appearances. Frequent travel may be required depending on operational needs.
