About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Legal Professional to join our team in Gangtok. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in contract drafting, legal research, corporate law matters, and preparing legal notices. This role requires excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Provide legal support on corporate law, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Prepare, review, and issue legal notices, replies, and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports, briefs, and opinions.
• Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Assist in litigation management, documentation, and case tracking.
• Maintain updated knowledge of legal developments, especially in corporate and commercial law.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in contract drafting and legal documentation.
• Good understanding of corporate law, commercial laws, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in preparing and responding to legal notices.
• Excellent legal research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.

Eligibility

• B.A., LL.B. mandatory; LL.M. preferred.
• 3–4 years of relevant legal experience in corporate, commercial, or litigation environment.
• Willingness to work full-time from Gangtok, Sikkim.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
