Legal Associate

Role Overview: You will play a crucial role as a Jr. Associate in supporting the Insolvency Professional (IP) in various capacities. Your responsibilities will include assisting in drafting legal documents, reports, etc., for submission to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), preparing agendas and minutes for creditor meetings, and reporting to regulatory bodies. You will also be involved in drafting petitions, applications, and replies, managing daily communications with stakeholders, and providing steadfast support throughout the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and Liquidation process. This position is ideal for individuals with 1-4 years of experience in the field. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in drafting legal documents, reports, etc., for submission to NCLT - Prepare agendas and minutes for creditor meetings - Report to regulatory bodies - Draft petitions, applications, and replies - Manage daily communications with stakeholders - Provide support throughout the CIRP and Liquidation process Qualifications Required: - At least 1 year of experience in Litigation - Proficiency in English is preferred (Note: The work location for this role is in-person.
