Advocate Non-Litigation (Real Estate, Acquisitions & Legal Drafting)

qualified, experienced, and dedicated Advocate

This role is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of high-value real estate and acquisition matters while working in a collaborative, growth-driven legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of legal documents, including:
    • Agreements for Sale, MOUs, Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, Development Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, and Power of Attorney documents.
  • Structuring and advising on

    real estate transactions and acquisitions

    , including land and property acquisition for residential, commercial, and industrial development.
  • Conducting

    legal due diligence and title verification

    for land and property acquisitions.
  • Preparing and presenting

    legal opinions, title reports, acquisition memos

    , and risk assessments to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting in

    negotiations and transaction closures

    with clients, developers, landowners, and authorities.
  • Advising clients on compliance with applicable laws including

    RERA, stamp duty, registration laws, land laws

    , and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Liaising with government authorities and registration offices to ensure smooth execution and registration of documents.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely completion of acquisition and transaction processes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • LL.B.

    from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum

    3+ years of experience

    in non-litigation legal practice, preferably in

    real estate law and acquisitions

    .
  • Prior experience working in a

    law firm

    or legal department handling real estate matters.
  • Strong command over

    legal drafting, documentation, and regulatory compliance

    .
  • Solid understanding of

    property laws, land acquisition procedures, and real estate project structuring

    .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value matters independently and with attention to detail.
