Legal Associate

Role Overview
As a Legal Associate at LMS, you will play a key role in supporting the legal team by managing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with legal documentation related to telecom and messaging services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for motivated law graduates to gain hands-on experience, work closely with senior legal professionals, and develop expertise in corporate and telecom law across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing various legal agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, interconnect agreements, and service level agreements under the guidance of senior legal team members.
• Support legal and regulatory compliance activities, including license tracking and preparation for audits or filings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on routine legal matters, notices, and dispute tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and filings, ensuring documentation is accessible and up to date.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams like Business Development, Sales, Procurement, and Finance to address legal needs promptly.

Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognised university.
• 0–2 years of experience, internships in corporate law, telecom, or related sectors preferred.
• Basic understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance; keen interest in telecom or technology law a plus.
• Strong research, drafting, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, work collaboratively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive learner with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
