What’s expected

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced learning facilitator who has prior experience in working in an enquiry and play based classroom.

An ideal candidate will be:

• Someone who has managed to keep the curiosity alive in themselves and see the world around them with wonder
• Responsive caregiver who is able to provide the child with a safe space
• Someone who believes and is an advocate for children’s right to free play
• Willing to work in an atmosphere where each child is respected for their choice to learn at their own pace

What is needed?

• Strong organisational skills and a great team player
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Enhanced Observation skills and an ability to understand every child’s unique needs
• Aptitude to continuously learn along with the children
• Classroom management skills
• Ability to set up an environment in the classroom which is both emotionally nurturing and intellectually stimulating
