Job Description

Lead/Senior Robotics Engineer)

Design, development and integration of advanced robotic solutions catering indoor and outdoor Autonomy Tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement autonomous Mapping and Navigation systems using ROS2, focusing on path planning, localization, odometry, and state estimation
Design and optimize state estimation techniques, including Kalman filters and sensor fusion methods, to improve robot accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate perception, odometry, and navigation modules into end-to-end robotic platforms.
Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices in SLAM, odometry, computer vision and robotics software development.
Expertise in odometry modelling, sensor calibration, and integration with perception systems.
In-depth knowledge of LiDAR processing, sensor fusion, and 3D mapping technologies.
Proficient in computer vision algorithms, image processing, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with robotic simulation tools such as Carla and Gazebo

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
3-8 years of experience developing SLAM, odometry, and navigation solutions using ROS/ROS2.
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in ROS2 navigation stack
Experience with Autoware Stack is plus
Solid understanding of autonomous navigation, path planning, localization, and motion estimation.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor a technical team
