Lead Tester

As an experienced Software Tester, you will be responsible for a wide range of testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications. Your expertise in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing will be crucial in identifying and resolving issues throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work on various testing types including Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT testing. Proficiency in using modern automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and Appium is essential. Your experience in testing web and mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms will be utilized to deliver high-quality products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute as an individual tester in test case preparation, test data setup, and execution. Your knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, Sprint Planning, and Backlog Refinement, will enable you to effectively manage test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to lead small-to-mid-sized teams, mentor junior testers, and review test cases to ensure high quality and efficiency. Your familiarity with AI tools for testing workflows automation and the ability to anticipate potential issues will be key in delivering successful testing outcomes. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in Automation Testing with exposure to frameworks or AI-based testing tools. - Proficiency in Black Box Testing including smoke, sanity, integration, regression, and UAT testing. - Familiarity with API testing, Database testing, and scripting languages such as Python and Java. - Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. - Previous experience in team management and leadership roles for 2-3 years. - Certifications in software testing like ISTQB are advantageous. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. - Immediate availability for joining the team.
