Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and modernize test benches with capabilities such as BTP (Build to Print), BTS (Build to Specification), and legacy system modernization.
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of test platforms, including ICT (In-Circuit Test), functional test systems, Qualification/Burn-In Test Benches and Automated test equipment (ATE).
  • Design electrical and electronic architecture for test systems.
  • Proficient in one or more PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Altium 365, PADS Professional, Allegro X PCB Designer, or Altium Circuit Maker.
  • Support and lead production qualification activities, ensuring readiness and reliability.
  • Define and implement software architecture for test automation and data acquisition.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the Design and manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
  • Lead the Hardware Engineering in the Project which will be responsible to ensure the HW product meets its quality Intent during development by performing data analysis using appropriate statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, develop technical investigation plans, and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and processes when necessary.
  • Develop and manage production schedules and timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of products.
  • Partner with hardware electrical and mechanical engineering, HW test engineering and program management to design effective BOM structures, develop efficient supply chain strategies, and provide feedback on manufacturing test processes during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase of a products life cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/MTech) – Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Aerospace.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, product development, or aerospace composites.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Product Development and Manufacturing, preferably in embedded electronics or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development processes, including design validation, qualification, and compliance testing.
  • Proven experience in:
    • D-FMEA / P-FMEA creation
    • Control Plan and Work Instruction documentation
    • APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
