To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we re looking to add a Junior Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering, Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal parts using SolidWorks software
• Apply GD&T and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Design press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for sheet metal forming.
• Select appropriate materials and processes for tool manufacturing.
• Ensure tool designs meet safety and standards.
• Support tool trials and resolve design-related issues during production.
• Prepare BOM, technical specifications, and design reports.
• Aptitude to work with a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.

The experience we re looking to add to our team:

• B. E / B. Tech in ECE / EEE / IC / Mechanical / Mechatronics with (0-2) years of experience in Manufacturing set up, Preferably in EMS Industry.
• Knowledge & direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.
• Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Experience with Continuous Process Improvement, Kanban and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
• Work with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.
• Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
• Good analytical skills.
• Reporting & Decision-making skills
• Flexible for shifts
