Job Description

Role & responsibilities Co-ordinate work on multiple phases of a project and/or projects of moderate scope or possibly in more complex assignments. Be involved in hands-on testing activities, supporting and working with QA Analysts. Work on quality assurance projects using available test frameworks and tools, establishing plans for projects with on-time and on-budget project goals. Be responsible for a certain test area and conditions, as well as results evaluation, problem resolution, and planning. Ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards. Scope and create quality assurance plans, data, procedures, and scripts. Scope out and create test coverage, designing specifications and defining conditions for given requirements, while maintaining the integrity of the test environment. Interpret, review, and report test activities and results in accordance with project plans. Identify test issues, report risks, and define regression tests for current and future projects, logging these as best practices and learning points. Understand business end-to-end processes and participate in production verification and validation. Contribute to management reporting, including appropriate test metrics on planning, defects, and execution. Deputise for the Lead as required.
