Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
• Architect, deploy and optimize Azure-based solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security services
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices
• Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS
• Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost management strategies
• Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
• Engineering experience with programming languages such as Python and NodeJS
• Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS
• Ability to write Azure Functions or AWS Lambdas
• Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations)
• Self-driven work ethic with ability to manage complex projects independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer)
• Experience with Azure governance and compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures
• Background in supporting enterprise-scale applications
• Experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools (such as DataDog)
