Job Description

Major Duties:

Design and develop messaging and web service components based on design documents that fit within technical framework as outlined by technical architects
Ensure code meets standards and is tested appropriate to the platform
Provide technical guidance to the development team as required.
A team player with an ability to own the design and code as per requirement given.
Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management
Continuously looks for ways to improve the application s stability, scalability and user experience

Knowledge/Skills:

Agile Methodology
Knowledge of Spring framework, messaging, Java, Application servers
Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery

Required Skills:

Agile Methodology
Java, Spring and messaging based development
OAuth authentication with Azure for SSO
xml/Json messaging
knowledge of Azure
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Knowledge in Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)
REST web service Development

Preferred/ Recommended:

Linux shell scripting
Junit The de-facto standard for unit testing Java applications
Experience in wealth management
