Job Description

As a Planner at the Ethics and Compliance Team in bp, you will play a crucial role in creating short- and long-term plans for stock movements across the distribution network to meet customer service and operational targets. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the Team Leader with daily operational coordination for the own portfolio - Being the first point of contact for planning-related questions, documentation, and complex queries - Supporting process optimization initiatives and collaborating with relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) - Creating a plan for stock movements to ensure stock availability and minimize obsolescence - Managing planning processes for items in your portfolio to meet customer demand and operational targets - Working with customers to meet operational and sales targets - Managing shortages of goods to maximize sales volumes and initiate continuous improvement plans - Acting upon escalations and defining action items in case of potential shortages - Managing any crisis and continuity of supply disruptions - Sharing good practices and learnings with the team for consistency and standardization - Providing accurate information to business customers and support teams through the correct use of IT systems - Exhibiting Great Teammate characteristics, constructive communication, and active listening - Developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers - Ensuring compliance with company policies - Ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance in all systems to minimize errors and financial losses You should possess: - Minimum 7 years of experience in planning roles - Knowledge of planning processes and systems - Digital literacy, including advanced Excel knowledge - Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks - Problem-solving skills - Good communication skills - Experience in Sales and Customer management (desirable) - Fluency in business English - University/College degree, preferably in economics - Strong analytical skills - Interpersonal, influence, and communication skills - Understanding of business requirements and strategy - Customer focus - Energy, stamina, and resilience - Continuous improvement mindset This role is eligible for relocation within the country and involves a hybrid of office/remote working. No travel is expected.
